What this website collects, why, and what it does not do.

The contact form

The contact form asks for your name, email address, an enquiry type, a subject and your message. A phone number and a company name are optional — leave them blank if you prefer. You must tick the consent box before the form will send.

What happens to it: the form emails the details straight to me and nothing else. Submissions are not stored in the website database — no logging add-on is installed — so the only copy is the email in my inbox. Your email address is used as the reply address so I can answer you; it is never used as the sender address, never added to a mailing list, and never shared with anyone.

You also receive an automatic acknowledgement confirming what you sent.

How long I keep it: enquiry emails stay in my mailbox for as long as the conversation is useful. I have not set a fixed retention period. Ask me to delete your enquiry at any time and I will.

Spam protection

To stop automated submissions the form uses a hidden field that real visitors never see, a check that the form was not submitted impossibly fast, and a limit on how many messages one visitor can send per hour. The rate limit stores a one-way hash of your IP address for one hour — not the address itself — and nothing about you is sent to any third party. There is no CAPTCHA and no external anti-spam service.

Who runs this site

This website is operated by Anas Alassi, an individual IT professional based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It presents professional work and services.

What is collected

The site does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Standard web-server logs are kept by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, and can include IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

If you choose to contact me, I receive whatever you send — typically your name, an email address and your message. That information is used only to answer you.

Booking a call

Meeting booking is handled by Calendly, a third-party service. If you book a call, the details you enter are processed by Calendly under their own privacy policy, not by this website.

Cookies

The site stores your appearance choice — dark or light, and the accent colour — in your own browser using local storage. It is not sent anywhere and is not used to identify you. Clearing your browser data removes it.

The language you choose is handled by the translation plugin and may set a cookie so the site remembers it.

What is not done

No selling of personal data. No advertising profiles. No newsletter sign-up you did not ask for. No sharing of your enquiry with third parties.

Your choices

You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact page and I will action it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page.
